Difference Between ISX15 and X15:
Cummins ISX and X15 are diesel engines manufactured by Cummins, they are suitable for heavy-duty trucks, but they have different product lines and generations.
The ISX is an older model with stable and mature performance, first released in 1998 as part of the Signature series. It is an inline 6-cylinder engine with a displacement of 7.6 to 15 liters. Key features include high-pressure common rail fuel injection, variable geometry turbocharging, and exhaust gas recirculation for emission control.
On the other hand, the X15 is a newer model that debuted in 2017 as part of the X-Series product line. This is also an inline 6-cylinder engine, but with a displacement of 14.9 to 16 liters. Compared with the ISX, the X15 uses more advanced technologies such as the XTRA-HIGH common rail fuel system, a new generation of exhaust aftertreatment system, and improves fuel efficiency through optimized design.
